Fran Drescher on Cancer Schmancer!

FranDresc_Todd_14080743_600.jpgI had the opportunity to run into a truly gorgeous Fran Drescher who looked stunning at Tuesday night’s premiere of The Starter Wife in West Hollywood. While I was expecting to cringe at her voice, talking to her was actually loads of fun and I was surprised to find that she didn’t care so much to talk about Hollywood and was super passionate about finding a cure for cancer.

We talked for a while about her new project, cancerschmancer.com and I couldn’t help but feel propelled to join in on the cause.

I’ve known way too many women to suffer from cancer, so any way we can create an impetus to find a the cure, is important! Fran is working with major politicians and other celebs to help increase awareness of and fundraising for female-specific cancer research. Check out her web site and let me know what you think!

Congratulations to Fran for creating this forum and dedicating herself to this cause. It's amazing that at this day and age we are still contracting and dying of this disease. Here's hoping we can finally make a difference.

I'm glad someone is finally doing something about how detecting uterine cancer is being overlooked. I was
suddenly diagnosed with stage 3 uterine
cancer. I didn't every know it existed.
Thought it would be detected with a pap
smear. Kudos to you!
