It's in the Genes for the Wilson Brothers
I got a chance to see all three of them at the premiere of The Wendell Baker Story at The Writer’s Guild in Beverly Hills last night. The brothers arrived to the premiere separately, but each showed up wearing a dark suit and collared shirt without a tie! It was as if they had planned for a family portrait.
Lucky co-star Eva Mendes looked magnificent in a mustard yellow strapless dress by Cynthia Vincent. Her skin shimmered under the photographers' flashes. I had to ask her how her skin looked so amazing and she told me it was Revlon’s Skinlights. She also shared that she drinks lemon water constantly and she swears it keeps skin looking healthy. I’m stocking up on lemons!
The movie was cute! A def. must see if you want a feel-good, lighthearted pic. I was anxious though to get over to the Sofitel where LA Confidential Magazine was hosting the after party.
Guests rolled in after 10pm, right when I caught Kevin Dillon sipping a beer. As I scanned the room, Kate Hudson was greeting Luke Wilson with a kiss on the cheek. Owen was a few feet behind her!

Kate looked gorgeous -- and without an ounce of makeup! Her super blonde hair was a great contrast to her tanned skin. She just epitomizes Malibu gorgeousness. She wore a super sexy black vest, but it couldn’t make up for the high-waisted, Wrangler-like, dark denim jeans she was wearing! Ugh! They gave her that dreaded 80’s bubble butt! Dating someone with as amazing genes as Owen Wilson, and she wears those?
She looked happy as she swayed to the Allman Brothers and sipped her champagne, so I kinda forgave her. And Owen kinda liked it! At one point, she teasingly wiggled her booty right in front of him. He put his hand on her waist, smiled and gave her a super sweet kiss on the lips. So cute, right?
Unfortunately, she brought her rock n’ roll crew with her. Probably leftovers from her Chris Robinson days, the group of misfits looked like Hell’s Riders arrived via Malibu. One of the girls got so wasted she actually fell over into a random partygoer.
Andrew Wilson was super nice. He seemed grateful and we talked for a bit about the movie.
The boys stuck together for most of the night and partied with beers. It’s clear that they get what it means to be in the “Frat Pack!”
