Calista Flockhart Is Not Deathly Skinny
As I was sipping my sugar-free iced vanilla latte from Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and browsing shops in Beverly Hills, a small ounce of guilt crept into my head as I saw the skinniest women in their ridiculously overdressed for 12:30 in the afternoon shopping outfits, parading their barely 100 lb. bodies and collecting huge shopping bags as if it were their jobs. I don’t know how Wolfgang Puck stays in business when it’s so obvious L.A. is not eating.
As I walked by Anthropologie, I saw Calista Flockheart leave with a huge shopping bag, dressed in jeans and worn Adidas. Given her history as a woman who has repeatedly been under scrutiny for her bony body, I was pleasantly surprised to see her look healthy! She looked like a retired ballerina-still skinny, but filled in and gorgeous. Her hair was shiny and healthy and she looked happy shopping in the gorgeous afternoon sun.
Ironically, I think some of these Hollywood starlets (Nicole Richie and company) need to learn a lesson from Calista. Eating is okay.
All guilt about drinking my Coffee Bean iced latte has since dissipated.

Healhty is important and as long as you are in moderation, you're fine! I just adore Calista on Brother's and Sister's. That show is amazing and she is good at being human! LOVE Calista!

I think Calista does look much better now a days. I also think it's age getting with her.
I love Calista! Loved her in Bird Cage, Ally McBeal and now Brothers and Sisters. She seems real.
She looks great! I'd love to see more of those stick-thin celebrities take a page out of her book.

Think Calista wouldn't look right to heavy, she has a small frame. She looks healthy here. She is great in Brothers & Sisters. Has good timing, wonderful facial expressions with the "brothers" in her TV family, just like it would be in real life family.
The show is 1 of my favs, can't wait for next season. Actors are bringing life to their characters, especially think Sally Field is the perfect mom, Nora. Has always been a fav since TV Gidget.
